Hass Petroleum (T) Ltd is a local oil marketing company in Tanzania, and has been operational in the region from 1997.Hass Petroleum (T) is licensed to import and market petroleum products in the domestic market, and export markets in the neighboring countries of D.R.Congo, Zambia, Malawi, Burundi and Rwanda.

STORAGE AND LOGISTICS

Hass Petroleum (T) Ltd. receives products for the Lake region through imports from Kenya via Kenya Pipeline Company Ex- Kisumu, and also through direct imports via Dar es Salaam Port. Hass Petroleum (T) has depots in Musoma with an installed storage capacity of 1.2 million litres and Mwanza with a capacity of 1 Million litres .The Musoma storage facility has its own pier in the lake for vessel anchorage and discharge of products and has been operational since 2002.The combined potential throughput volume for these facilities is 8.5 million litres per month. Hass Service Station in Musoma The company is a member of the Tanzania Association of Oil Marketing Companies. Hass Petroleum has throughput hospitality arrangements with Oilcom,Oryx and MCCL depots, Karasoni, Dar es Salam. The company operates a fleet of own and contracted tanker trucks for the reliable movement of fuel to the desired destinations-incountry and the neighboring export markets.

EXPANSION

Construction of a depot in Kigamboni area in Dar es Salaam has been competed .The storage capacity is 25 Million litres  
of combined products. The Kigamboni depot will enable Hass Petroleum to have access to reliable and uninterrupted product availability by virtue of the sizable own storage capacity in Dar es salaam, Mwanza and Musoma.
