From its humble beginnings as a  as a fuel reseller, Hass Petroleum is now a renowned oil marketer with fully fledged operations in Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda, Southern Sudan, Rwanda, Burundi, and the Democratic Republic of Congo. Hass Petroleum has invested heavily in storage facilities as well as a retail station network and a strong supply chain infrastructure to establish a solid and reputable partnership both on the supply and demand sides.
Hass Petroleum’s product range consist of all white oils namely Diesel, Petrol and Kerosene, Liquefied Petroleum Gas and its own brand of lubricants, blended in Kenya to world-class standards. 

The Uganda market is quite significant as it has a large retail network which has grown over the years from nine stations to twenty bringing the total regional network to over sixty stations. In addition to the prominent presence in Uganda, Hass Petroleum has gained a strong foothold in Tanzania by investing in a huge oil terminal.  Completion of the first phase of the Dar es Salaam depot is on course for 1st quarter of 2010. This is a major project that will have an initial installed capacity of 25 million liters and by the end of Phase II will increase to 40 million liters by 2011.

To address business growth, the company continues to invest in human capital that will take it to the next level and now has a strong team of youthful and highly qualified staff across the region. The staff complement has also increased in tandem, rising from a small team of ten people to six hundred in 2010.

Hass Petroleum works closely with key stakeholders in the oil industry including; the Petroleum Institute of East Africa, Kenya Pipeline Company, and Kenya Petroleum Refineries Limited, and the regulatory authorities in the energy sector to ensure it meets all regulatory requirements and exceeds customers’ expectations.
